The City Fruit + Vegetable Wholesale Market Mary’s Lane, Dublin. Built in 1891-2, designed by Neville Parke + Harry Spencer. The place also does a good line in flowers should you need to sweeten your sweetheart. This place is due to be redeveloped in the near future; Dublin City Council are going to turn it into a gourmet food hall, or so they say. Can’t wait. Seemingly, however, Dublin City Council haven’t been keeping the traders up to date with the plans and information, so the future of their businesses is very uncertain. Not a nice way to be.
